UDIP RANA
Founder / Director
UDIP RANA is a filmmaker, producer, creative director, entrepreneur, and visual storyteller with a strong passion for cinema and entertainment. As the Founder and Director of Film Magnet Entertainment Production House, he is dedicated to creating impactful stories that emotionally connect with audiences while promoting filmmaking.
With over 19 years of experience in the Mumbai entertainment Industry, he has worked across film production, scripting, direction, creative development, photography, editing, and entertainment management. He has contributed to OTT platforms, television shows, ad films, short films, and feature films. He has served as Creative Director and Producer at Film Magnet Entertainment (2021–Present), Director and Creative Director for freelance OTT and advertising projects, and Creative Producer for the ZEE5 Original web series Kaale Dhande. He has also worked as Creative Head and Creative Director in the television industry with leading channels including Colors TV, Star Network, Life OK, Bindass, MTV, and Channel V.
After graduating from Delhi University and completing film school, he began his career as a production assistant and assistant director, working on television shows, film productions, promotional shoots, and several Bollywood projects. His journey through different creative and production roles helped shape his strong understanding of storytelling and visual entertainment.
Born and brought up in the tea gardens of Dooars, West Bengal, India, he completed his schooling at Caeser School, Malbazar. Jalpaiguri Known for his creative vision and commitment to cinematic excellence, he believes storytelling has the power to inspire, influence, and create meaningful change in society. Under his leadership, Film Magnet Entertainment continues to explore innovative storytelling while supporting fresh talent and culturally rooted stories.

R RAAGHAV MUDALIAR
He is an Assistant Director known for his work in independent and cross-border South Asian cinema. He worked on the feature film Dhaago and various advertisements under Film Magnet Entertainment, while projects such as Harsha and Double Triple were undertaken independently. He completed his Master’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of North Bengal. Representing a new wave of filmmakers, he blends rooted storytelling with a contemporary cinematic vision emerging from India’s northeastern corridor.
Dr Komal Mukhiya
She is an Assistant Director and Creative Writer known for her artistic vision and storytelling skills. She has also contributed as a voice-over artist in the Johnson Lions project under the banner of Film Magnet Entertainment Production House, showcasing her versatility in the creative industry.
Drishti Thapa
She is an Assistant Director, Dancer, and Law student with a passion for visual storytelling and performance arts. She was part of Devotart, Sikkim’s firstever Golden Buzzer-winning troupe on India’s Got Talent. Their performance earned nationwide recognition for its creativity and cultural richness. Through Devotart, Drishti proudly represented Sikkim on a national stage.
Malati Rai
Malati Bantawa Rai is a creative media professional and social media influencer. She has worked as an Assistant Director in in-house project and is passionate about storytelling, visual creativity, and digital content creation.

KAMLESH PARUI
Consultant Film Editor
Kamlesh Parui is a renowned film editor known for his exceptional storytelling and creative editing across films, web series, and feature films. He has worked on acclaimed projects including Rastra Kavach Om, Broken But Beautiful 3, Jehanabad, Pop Kaun, Tiger Zinda Hai, Bharat, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and Nepali In-House feature film “Dhaago” as Consultant Editor. With experience across major studios like Yash Raj Films, Dharma Productions, and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, his work is recognized for its seamless narrative flow, emotional depth, and modern cinematic approach.
ANAROOP KERKETTA
Consultant Post Creative Head
Anaroop Kerketta is a visual artist, calligraphy designer, and creative professional with over 20 years of experience in modern lettering, design, and visual storytelling. A Fine Arts graduate from Delhi College of Art with a Master’s in Animation & Film Design from IIT Bombay, he is known for his experimental calligraphy and artistic innovation. He has also contributed his creative expertise to the Nepali inhouse feature film Dhaago, showcasing his versatility across visual arts and cinema.
AKHILESH RAI
FILM EDITOR (PROJECT)
Akhilesh Rai is a project-based freelance editor and FTII Pune graduate known for his work in Nepali cinema. He has contributed to notable projects including Four Rivers Six Ranges (2025), Jaar (2025), Youngster: Nepali Film (2015), and the Nepali in-house feature film “Dhaago”. Recognized for his strong storytelling sense and cinematic editing style, he continues to collaborate across diverse film and creative productions.
ANIKET GHOGALE
Director of Photography (DOP)
Experienced cinematographer with 15+ years in television, films, OTT, and digital content. Skilled in camera operations, lighting design, visual storytelling, and shot composition. Worked on popular projects like Crime Patrol Dial 100, Savdhaan India, CIF, and multiple OTT microdrama series. Proven expertise in leading camera teams and delivering high-quality cinematic visuals across diverse production environments. Fluent in Hindi, Marathi, and English.
MRIDUL SEN
Director of Photography
Mridul Sen is an Indian cinematographer and Director of Photography (DOP) known for her visually compelling storytelling across films, web series, and international projects. A graduate of the New York Film Academy, she has worked in Hollywood, Bollywood, and productions across Egypt, Thailand, and Spain. She gained recognition for films such as Khari Biscuit, Bhaag Beanie Bhaag, and Rattlesnakes, earning praise for her cinematic visual style and emotional depth. Her work on Khari Biscuit won her the Best Cinematographer Award at the Sakal Premier Awards 2019.

PRODUCTION CONTROLLER / LINE PRODUCER
Sabin Thapa is a dedicated Production Controller and Line Producer known for his strong administrative and production management expertise. Before joining Film Magnet, he worked with renowned organizations like Tata Motors, Goodricke Group, and Sunbeam School in administrative roles. Since the beginning of Film Magnet, he has played an important role in managing productions and contributing valuable creative ideas to various projects.

PRODUCTION MANAGER
Suraj Toppo is a talented Graphic Designer and Production Manager known for his creative vision and strong management skills. He has contributed significantly to the film Dhaago and several in-house advertisements, showcasing his expertise in design and production coordination. A graduate of University of Delhi, Suraj combines creativity, professionalism, and technical knowledge to deliver impactful visual and production work.

Uday Thapa is an IT Engineer and Supervising Producer known for his strong production management and creative decision-making skills. He has successfully handled numerous advertisements and the feature film Dhaago under the banner of Film Magnet Entertainment Production House, establishing himself as a dynamic force in the media and entertainment industry.

DISTRIBUTION HEAD
Subhendu Adhikary completed his graduation from Kalyani University and possesses strong expertise in film distribution and censorship. As an in-house professional overseeing this department, he has contributed to several notable projects, including Dhaago and Mitajyu. His experience and understanding of distribution strategies and certification processes make him a valuable asset to the team.
